The Apostle Paul told his protégé Timothy, “and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also” (2 Tim 2:2).
Faithful men. In short, we want to develop faithful men, who will then be able to pass on the faith on to other faithful men.
The church at large is in short supply of faithful men. That doesn’t cut it for us at FBC Paducah. The Men's Ministry at FBCP is dedicated to inspiring and equipping men to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ. This begins with relationships. Men need stronger relationships in every area of their lives, and we seek to strengthen our relationships with God, our families, and our community by fostering spiritual growth, accountability, and servant leadership with the men of the church. We strive to develop godly men who live out their faith in every aspect of life, advancing the mission of the Gospel for the glory of God.
Faithful men in every area of their lives. Imagine a church full of men like that!
How do we do this?
- Bible studies and book studies: We need to be men of the Word first!
- Discipleship: Growth happens best when we are personally challenged. We are committed to seeing our men discipled.
- Fellowship: Faithful men need godly relationships. We provide quarterly opportunities for men to get together to build those relationships.
- Family: Faithful men love their families. One way to foster this is to have a father/daughter rafting trip and a man camp.
